Ingredients
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed + drained
- 1/3 cup cashew butter or almond butter
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond flour
- 1/4 cup vanilla protein powder
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/3–1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
Optional:
- flaky sea salt on top
- cinnamon sprinkle
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 baking dish.
- Rinse and drain chickpeas well.
- Add chickpeas, nut butter, maple syrup, almond flour, protein powder, vanilla, baking soda, baking powder, and salt to a blender or food processor.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into baking dish and top with extra chocolate chips.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until edges are golden and center is set.
- Cool completely before slicing for best texture.
